FAQs
-How much does composite bonding cost?
Our composite bonding packages start from £1500. We have interest free finance packages available.
-How long do they last?
Typically, we would expect composite bonding to last 5-7 years at which time they may need replacing due to staining or wear and tear. Good oral hygiene helps to improve the longevity of all restorations.
-Can I choose the colour?
We can match the shade of the composite to your existing teeth or whiten your teeth prior to the procedure if you are looking for a whiter smile. Please see our teeth whitening section for further information
-How are they different to porcelain veneers?
Porcelain veneers normally require more drilling to prepare the tooth surface. Porcelain veneers are made in a lab and are more expensive. They tend to last longer before needing replacement.
-How long does the procedure take?
Most of our patients would have composite bonding on their front upper 6 teeth. These are usually carried out over 2 appointments. The first is about 3 hours to build up the composite on your teeth and the second is about 1 hour for smoothing and polishing.
